Freedom Tour USA History

For those of you who don't know who we are, or where this began, I'll go back to Jerusalem. May 29- June 9 2008:

We had 15 worship bands, artists, and many prayer warriors on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem for 10 days of worship, welcoming the Holy Spirit, from many countries around the world, united under the vision: "Creating a place for the Holy Spirit to move through music and the arts." The worship leaders were asked to share their testimonies along with their songs, but there was no preaching or teaching, only testimonies and music.

There were some Israelis but most of the audience were Arabs from the Mount of Olives and international Christians.

Every event we put on will have a different format and may look different from past events. We try not to build boxes that would hold the Holy Spirit back from doing what He wants to do.

Along side of Fulfillment Fest, we are launching the Freedom Tour, starting March 25 on the National Mall. Our theme and Platform for the Freedom Tour will be: "Forgiveness and Repentance". We will be worshiping with music, teaching, preaching, and asking the Lord for miracles on the Mall in front of the Capital in Washington DC under the same big tent that we had on the Mount of Olives. This will be the first stop of our tour across the USA. From DC, we will head to Fredericksburg, VA on April 2-5 where Freedom Tour will join forces with "Awaken the Dawn", which is working to raise up a 24/7 house of Prayer and missions training base. Future cities and dates will be added as the Holy Spirit directs.

Now, let's get to the "Lessons from the Mount of Olives" (Spiritual - Kingdom stuff)

Lessons from the Mount of Olives

FORGIVENESS

During our event on the Mount of Olives, I asked the Holy Spirit, "What were we actually doing in the spirit realm?" He said that we were, "Cleaning out His well/fountain." There were obstacles in the well that are blocking the flow of the Holy Spirit, and the music and testimonies were actually like lowering someone into the well to remove the obstacles and re-dig the well.

I was able to share this testimony with all the people at the tent and this gave us re-assurance of what were doing in the spirit.

Later, I asked the Lord to please back it up with scripture and He gave me Jeremiah 2:13.

For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

The Book of Jeremiah speaks to the destruction of Israel and it's people being led away in chains into slavery. To me, Jeremiah 2:13 summarizes the whole reason why God let this happen. A lot of sins can come under the terms: "forsaking God", and He considers it just as evil to build a box, which would try to constrain or hold the Living God.

We all have our boxes because we are constrained by our perspectives, myself included, I even presented to the Lord that I had a mighty big box, but he wasn't impressed, and reminded me of how much bigger He is. I am guilty also, and I repent.

Then He said to me, "Neil, I want to teach you another perspective on forgiveness that you do not have yet."

He spoke to me in business language because I'm a businessman. He said, "Neil I want you to ask me to take things off people's accounts once and for all."

He said, "Neil I know how you reason, someone may offend you and you say 'I forgive them.' but then you turn to me and say, 'God straighten them out' or 'Gett 'em God', but there's something legal that I want to explain to you about forgiveness. All believers have authority that is legal but that many, unfortunately, do not understand it. I want to give you an analogy of how this works: Visualize a perceived good guy carrying a perceived bad guy to court, the perceived 'good' guy is handcuffed to the perceived 'bad' guy-they’re both handcuffed. This means you are both tied up in a legal matter. Legally you are handcuffed to the perceived 'bad' guy.
Most of my Church are tied up in legal matters so much that they are not able to get involved in Kingdom works."

Then He carried me to the scripture where Jesus asks his Father to "Forgive them, for they don't know what they're doing."

Then he took me to Matthew 16:19: when He told Peter, "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (King James Version)

Then he brought me to the scripture when he came back in his resurrected body when he's breathing on and sending out the disciples, "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained." John 20:23

So he said, "Neil, the high calling is for a person to be like Christ, and the first step to being like Christ, or to entering the Kingdom, is that we must forgive; and to stay in the Kingdom, we must keep forgiving and keep asking the Father to forgive people who have offended us."

This gives the Father the legal access that He has limited himself to because of the authority that He gave us as believers.

We don't have the authority to forgive the world's sins that was Jesus’ job but we do have the authority to forgive the sins (offenses) that are against us, and ask the Father to forgive them as well.

Remember, if you don't forgive, the perceived good guy is still handcuffed to the perceived bad guy.

Here's the story of how this came about in my heart with Fulfillment Fest on the Mount of Olives:

I had shipped my tent, sound equipment & chairs in a 40 ft container to Israel. The Israeli customs held my container until the very last moment. The Fulfillment Fest team had already started renting other equipment to do the music festival on the Mount of Olives. Israeli customs also charged us for all the time they held the container (it cost thousands of dollars extra just getting the container out of customs). Other Israeli officials were fussing with customs trying to help me get my container out, but they did not have authority over customs, as that was a separate department.

The Lord told me, "I want you to ask me to take this offense off of the Jewish official's account."

The next incident concerned the National Park on the Mount of Olives. I made three trips to Israel to secure a permit and permission from the Jerusalem municipality to use the park that is within the city limits of Jerusalem. I had been issued a permit and charged $250 to use the park for approximately 30 days. Upon arrival of the container at the park, a senior official from the Parks Authority showed up and said that we would have to pay an additional $1,000 a day to use the park. Well, I started fussing, and all the Jewish Officials who have been walking through this with me were all fussing as well and we finally got them down to $500 a day. I was not very happy, but Father God asked me to take this offense off their account. He said this would allow Him to work with these people. And I said, "I'm just a little guy in this whole picture.", but He said, "Yeah, but you are on assignment and you have the authority to forgive or hold this offense as a believer."

Then on the 3rd day of our event, in the middle of the night when no one was around, we had an Arab throw a Molotov cocktail or firebomb our tent. I immediately went to prayer and the Holy Spirit said it was a child who did it and not to make a big deal out of it. Sure enough the Israeli police and military investigated and told me that is was indeed a child, and had it been the 'real' bad guys, we would have lost everything. Instead, we only have a scar on the tent. And the Holy Spirit told me to take it off the Arab's account and the security guard's account. I was going to get the tent repaired, and I heard the Holy Spirit say to leave the tent so the scar would be a reminder of the story of forgiveness.

REPENTANCE

After the lesson on forgiveness, the Lord said he wanted to give me a new perspective on repentance, and He wanted me to use the message of forgiveness and repentance in the next phase, the Holy Spirit wants us to bring the tent and do a freedom tour across America and the theme will be forgiveness and repentance.

He said, "Neil, I want you to go to the believing youth that know Me (40 and under) in America."
(this is the next generation of future leaders of the evolving Church).

He said, "These young people have 2 fires burning inside them, they have My fire and they have the world's fire, I want you to feed My fire."

He said, "You have a common hunger with the youth in that you both want to be a part of the 'greater works' of the Kingdom. So repentance is necessary to walk in greater works."

And I said to the Lord, "Repentance is a heavy word Lord."

And He said, "If My Church will repent, I will heal this land and make it better than it's ever been."

And I said, "You know that people are going to say to me, 'what do you expect me to repent of', so Lord I need to ask you, what do I, Neil Blake, have to repent of? I try to read the word, to tithe, to keep short accounts, what is it that I need to repent of?"

He said, "Neil, how about everything in your life that's not like me?"

Of course, I can see a truckload of things in my life that weren't like Him, and he said, "do you think there is anything here that you can repent of?"

And he said, "Neil, you need to be more like me than you are today if you ever want to be apart of the greater works."

Therefore, instead of being a heavy thing, this will be a challenge to the Church that repentance is the way to the greater works.

As I forgave and asked Him to forgive, and started on this road to repentance, a great freedom came over me! Some kind of fear I didn't even know I had left and a new kind of boldness from the Kingdom came in.

So, this will be our theme as we carry the tent across America.
Every event that he has asked us to do seems to come out different, so we aren't trying to create another box for the Holy Spirit, but rather we just want to make ourselves available to the Holy Spirit through any avenue He wants to come.

So I asked the Lord, where will we carry the tent? And he said, well, you'll get invitations, and pray and see if I want you to go to those particular places.

Sure enough we already have five invitations, we know that we will start in Washington DC, which is the hub of authority in America.
